Bacuri Butter, Platonia Insignis

Bacuri Butter, Platonia Insignis

Bacuri is a fruit that grows only in the northern Amazon. Its name comes from the language Tupi Ba (fall) curi (immediately), which it does when it is ripe.

Bacuri butter, obtained from the stones, is chocolate coloured. It penetrates easily into the skin to which it brings vivacity. A natural anti-inflammatory, it helps fight skin infections and joint pain.

Bacuri butter also contains phosphorus, iron, potassium and calcium, as well as vitamins A, B and C. It helps control skin hyperpigmentation.
